Forecasting Food Insecurity Part II
Today I went all out on building a predictive model for food security using any and all available indicators. Additionally, I asked Claude to reference work by James Thurlow from IFPRI who is brilliant in this space. I have not totally reviewed the implementation or output, but this was a significant learning experience and development process. There are multiple API and data sources being integrated into multiple different models that also allow for iterative explroation ot see "policy effects" on outcomes.
