Urban Waste Dynamics of NYC
I'm starting to think that my passion for undertanding waste has been dormant. Today I spent some time organizing some old analytical data, metadata and python modules related to the waste management work I used to do. Once organized, I asked Claude to build a processing pipeline using the information already available.
In doing so, I regenerated several old analyses. First, I do clustering on time series tonnage data to uderstand how spatial areas of the city are correlated or generate waste in the same patter. I then compare different appraoches for doing time series forecasting.
